What an amazingly perfect spring weather day it was today! I cooked a surprise brunch for Paul while he slept in this morning. We ate waffles and homemade apple sauce on the deck in the bright warm sunshine. Later, we biked to the coop to do our grocery shopping, I laid in the yard with the dogs while I finished my book, baked breakfast muffins for the week with the windows wide open and now we are grilling for dinner. Nobody can say we didn't make the best of the good weather today! Plus, the nice weather is making it easier to cope with our car being out of commission.
