They like it!

The pups got a new bed a little while back. We've been living with it long enough now that I can safely say that this is a great product. Molly Mutts' design requires you to stuff the pillow yourself with extra clothes, blankets and miscellaneous fabric goods you might have lying around. What you get in your order is the duvet/pillow cover and an empty, mesh, stuff sack.

I am really pleased with this pillow for several reasons. The end result is a firm and heavy pillow, which in our case, means that the dogs shift the pillow around a lot less than they did with their last one. Stuffing it ourselves means that we can fluff it up or add more to it to avoid the deflated pillow effect that happens with poly-fil stuffing. And, lastly, when it starts to smell too much like them, I can throw all of it in the washing machine.

The duvet it made out of a canvas-type material that has been strong enough to withstand the scratching and adjusting that Tchazo likes to do and the face-rubbing that Jack likes to engage in. The zipper works smoothly and is well concealed under flaps of matching fabric.

One odd benefit we received from their new pillow is that when we were painting and in need of some rags, we were able to snag a few things from inside the pillow. If we hadn't kept them around for stuffing the pillow, they would have likely been thrown away or donated.
