Year of Honesty has struck again. Once upon a time, I bought a drum and took hand drumming lessons with it. I really enjoyed playing while I was in class. Since then I have been more interested in taking dance classes where I get to dance to other people's drumming than I have been in learning to be a better drummer.
So, in the interest of honesty and paring down our possessions for the move, I sold my drum. It went to someone who will give it a new life. The fact that I literally had to clean out the cobwebs from inside the drum before I sold it reinforces the fact that it isn't something I need to keep. It was a neat drum though. The drum head was made from synthetic skin, so no animals had give of their skin for me to keep the beat.
