Watch Out!
For nearly the span of my entire life, two major streets in downtown Minneapolis (1st Ave N and Hennepin Ave) have been one way streets. This weekend they are converting the streets into two way streets. In addition to the traffic direction changes, they are adding a bunch of parking, bike and bus features. From what I read, the bike boxes, parking buffer and shared bike/bus/turning lane are going to be pretty treacherous to navigate on bike. Bikers, beware!
