Dinkytown
I joined up with some fellow Ravelers for a lunchtime knitting group today at the Purple Onion. I love knitting on my lunch breaks and they were a fun group, so hopefully we will meet again. On the way back, I noticed this great PBR mural near the Annie's Parlour sign and became quite smitten with them both.
What I am not smitten with is this crazy ant invasion that appeared in our backyard today. What is up with that?

sprinkle some mint tea leaves all around your foundation--- or mint oil until you can plant some mint. Ants will get in the house quickly! My parents had swarms of ants in the backyard and this is how they fixed them longterm: planted mint at the base of the house... all around it. Then put 8-9 inches of gravel and river rock blend "border" around the house (the mint will take over the yard, if you aren't careful!) and then there is the lawn. :) My dad keeps the mint at bay with the weedwhacker and the rocks make it easier to mow the lawn.
