Hey Spinners!
Can anyone identify this fiber?
Here are some hints...
It is really soft.
It is long and fluffy.
It matches my bedroom curtains.
I can gather it without leaving my apartment.
It is Fanny fur!

omg you have left me laughing so much... i have a lot of english speaking friends from the UK and Australia and so on, so.... fanny means.... something different. 0_0 so, the question of whether or not one could spin 'fanny fur'... eeeheeeheheheeee!
ReplyDeleteThat Fanny - she could be a real cash cow if you can spin her fur. She's sooooo soft!
ReplyDeleteHee hee. We knew when we named her that Fanny had some other meanings. I didn't think of that connotation when posing that question, though! The shelter we got her from named her Faneuil as in Faneuil Hall. She came into the shelter with Prudential and Hancock. We shortened it to Fanny since it is cuter, somewhat naughty and makes for lots of fun name play...Fanny Fanny Fo Fanny, Fanny Cakes, Fanny Mae, etc.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty kitty! My Jezebel looked a lot like her, only not as fluffy.
